Description
This sterling silver earring features detailed patterns from native northwest bracken fern fronds. Using an ancient process called “Keum boo”, 23K gold sheet has been attached to each earring making them look like they have been dipped in gold. A patina darkens the silver to enhance the fern pattern, but not the gold….yielding a beautiful contrast between the two metals. The earrings are light but sturdy.
Dimensions: The earrings measure 3/8 inch across at the widest end and just under 2 inches in length, measured from where the earring inserts into your ear. They hang from sterling silver ear wires.
Your earrings arrive in a sturdy gift box with story card listing materials, plus care tag and a brief explanation of the process used to create the earrings. They make a lovely gift! Shipping is free.
